The quarantine period in Mauritius will be extended from 31st March 2021 to 31st May 2021. The quarantine will therefore be mandatory for all passengers entering Mauritius until that date.

Following the rapid spread of the Covid-19 virus, the following precautionary measures have been adopted by the Mauritian authorities:

All travellers coming from or in transit in the following countries during the last 15 days will not be allowed to enter the territory of Mauritius until March 31, 2021:
• South Africa
• Japan
• Brazil

Travelers coming from the United Kingdom will be allowed to enter Mauritius from March 1, 2021.
These measures have been taken as a precaution to protect our residents and travelers from a mutant strain of the virus that may be more contagious or more dangerous.
